Throughout the summer, you’ll find activities and events for children and families in the Vejle area. In 2026, you can look forward to fun activities in Vejle city and the surrounding area.

Holiday activities by Vejle Municipality

Sign your child up for fun activities this summer. Registration opens on 3 June at 12 noon. At vejle.dk, you can sign up for ceramics courses, sports camps, baking and cooking courses, creative activities with clay, embroidery, felt and much more. Some activities are free, while others require a participation fee.

Nørrestrand, FerieFun and Summer City

Once again this year, City Vejle is ready with holiday fun when Nørrestrand opens again in June at Nørretorv in Vejle. You can also join FerieFun again, and as something brand new, Vejle will be transformed into a summer city. This page will be updated when more information is available.

Summer at Tinnetgaard

The visitor farm at Tinnetgaard is open throughout the summer holidays with the following activities:

• Animal feeding every Saturday and Sunday at 10:30 am: Get up close to the goats, rabbits, cute guinea pigs, pigs and horses, and help feed the animals
• Gold panning every day: Find a piece of gold in the sandbox and redeem a prize in the farm shop
• Hobby horse riding: At weekends, a hobby horse course is set up in the riding hall
• The inspiration garden and roadside stand are open 24/7

In addition to the animal feeding, you can still meet the petting goats and the other animals. Admission and activities are free.

Songs and summer at Sankt Nicolai Church

Sankt Nicolai Church offers entertainment and activities every Thursday in weeks 28, 29, 30 and 31. The programme is:

• 8:30–9:00 am: Morning singing – start your day with songs, a few words for reflection and coffee/tea
• 10:00 am–2:00 pm: Summer in the church – take part in creative activities for children and young people aged 7+ (registration required)
• 4:00–5:00 pm: Guided tour – discover the church’s history from the 13th century to today
• 7:30–9:00 pm: Bike ride with evening song – a shared 10–15 km bike ride starting at the church

Summer holiday with VejleMuseerne

Throughout the summer, the Cultural Museum, the Iron Age, Randbøldal Museum and the Art Museum offer entertainment for the whole family. It takes place daily from 10 am to 5 pm, starting Friday 26 June and ending Sunday 9 August.
